Furrywood: Motion Capture

You've heard of animating by hand. What about animating by body? Learn about motion capture in this interactive panel, and find out how this rapidly developing technology is changing computer character animation.

Instead of last year's Kinect-based system, this year we'll be using the Noitom Perception Neuron mocap suit,  a highly portable system for full body motion capture anywhere! And with multiple suits, we'll be able to record multiple characters at once. In this two hour panel, we'll animate a two-character CGI scene with furry characters right there at the con!
